Come to this Black Girl Bloom Screening experience and be ready to be moved and seen

Through film, movement, and poetry, Keomi uses her craft to share her journey of acceptance, compassion, and celebration. Connecting her black-girl experience to one of being a flower in full bloom — planted, exposed, unafraid and fruitful, Tarver shares her personal process of learning, accepting, and appreciating her bloom. She inspires others to explore their self-awareness and celebrate it.

Keomi Tarver is a dynamic performer, Artistic Holistic Healer, and Divine and spiritualist mover. She is a San Diego State and City College Alumni has performed on stages headlining and performing for celebrity festivals for more than 20,000 people, led private sessions with celebrity clients and taught dance classes for brands such as Nordstrom, and has delivered over 100 workshops across the country. She has returned to San Diego after 12 years to make some noise and continue to create opportunities to inspire others to access their personal abundance by exploring and honoring themselves.

The Women in Bloom are Aaliyah Hollis, Crystal Pope, Jamailah Blessed, Jocelyn Johnston, Misha Bakersvile, Monique Easley, Sierre Pierre. These Bloom Dancer consist of teachers, students, mothers, performers, business owners, artists, lovers and so much more. After an audition dedicated to women of color, we came together and created something beautiful. On and off the stage. Women in Bloom is the embodiment of community, connection and celebration among Black Women.
